It was a series of random events that led to the Monea’s finding this perfect home. In 2014 they began searching for a farm that they could call their own. After numerous showings of beautiful places that just did not fit, they went for a leisurely drive while visiting Amy’s family in Cochrane and came across the ranch in Carstairs. 

Like most family farms and ranches, the property and business represents the culmination of dreams and hard work. It is the support of people like Shelly and Dennis Ericson and their dreams of mentoring the next generation in cattle that this farm became a reality. Get-A-Long Stock Farm is a partner in Rafter U7 Ranch and Wellness Centre and the cattle operation, providing the confidence and encouragement for Amy and Brett to step in to their dreams.
